The Dark Mousse is the sixth moose that can be discovered in the stampede. Like most secret animals, it can only be found by completing a special task.

Appearance

The Dark Mousse is grey in colour and only is not grey on its hooves and antlers. Its hooves have purple rings above them. In its mouth, it holds a purple lamp with a brown stick and between its antlers, which are jagged in appearance, are bolts of lightning. It has a brown and purple saddle on the back which has five purple hanging crystals on each side.

Description

Keeper of ancient secrets. Channels arcane power from the void. Made of chocolate.

Requirements

Sky Zoo upgraded to Mountains 5 or greater.
Ride eight different animal species uninterrupted in a row in Mountains.
- The player must start on an animal from a different zone, or an epic animal, in order to do this. A tip is to first jump onto a rarer animal (e.g. an eagle) and stay on it until a rarer animal which cannot be ridden infinitely is found (e.g. a yak), before jumping on the remaining animal species.

Note: Due to it being a secret animal, it will appear every time the player completes the above requirements.

Notes

The Dark Mousse is a play on dark chocolate mousse, a light dessert made from dark chocolate and whipped egg white. "Mousse" is a homophone with 'moose'.
The description references a stereotypical super-teacher or master who knows of all the dark secrets of the universe, and also references dark chocolate mousse.
