The Fruit Bat is the fifth flying fox in the stampede.
Appearance
Despite appearing similar to the Flying Fox, the Fruit Bat is a wholly separate entity. It is primarily coloured banana yellow, although its ears are of a plum colour and its wings lined with apple-green. On the front of each wing, there are two leaf-like growths, with the one closer to the middle being larger.

This flaptastic flying flora-fauna is full of fruity flavours!
Requirements
- Sky Zoo upgraded to Outback 5 or greater.
- Flying Fox tamed.
- Ride past 1800m in Outback.
Note: Its chance of appearing is extremely low due to it being a tier 5 animal. It will appear randomly but very rarely, and doesn't appear before 1800m.

Notes
- The Fruit Bat was released in version 1.3.0 on the 13th of October 2016 along with Outback and all other Outback species.
- The Fruit Bat references the megabat otherwise known as a "fruit bat", although this relation appears to be in name only, as actual fruit bats are named for their diet, not their appearance.
- Over half of the words in the Fruit Bat's description start with the letter 'f', an example of alliteration.
- The Baby Fruit Bat is not as close in appearance to its parent as most other baby animals are in that its snout is rounder and its nose is black, invoking that of a banana.
