The Termite is the fifth ant in order in the zoo. It can be found in the stampede when the player upgrades their ant habitat to level 2 or higher.

Appearance

The Termite is effectively a re-colouration of the Ant, with some minor variations. Its antennae, unlike other ants have a distinct bend and are parallel to the ground. Its mandible is also serrated. The Termite's head is coloured dark red, with its legs legs fading from light brown to dark grey from body to the tip. Its abdomen is coloured a light sandy brown colour.

Description

Termite queens are the longest living insects in the world, living up to 50 years.

Requirements

• Garden 1 unlocked.
• Ant tamed.
• Ant habitat upgraded to level 2 or higher.
• Ride past 1200m in Garden.

Note: Its chance of appearing is very low due to it being a tier 4 animal. It will appear randomly but not often, and doesn't appear before 1200m.

Notes

• The Termite was released in version 1.15.0 on the 22nd of March 2018 along with Garden and the first five Garden species.
• The Termite is based on a real life termite, with the description mentioning some trivia about termites.
• The Termite is not actually a type of ant, in fact, it is not even of the same order, the category of classification above family, as ants. The order which ants are in, called hymenoptera, also comprises of sawflies, wasps and bees. Termites are part of the order blattodea, the order that also contains cockroaches.
