The Zebra is the first type of zebra in the game and the second species overall. The player can find it through normal play after they have completed the initial tutorial.
Appearance[]
The Zebra looks like a real-life zebra, with vertical black and white stripes on its body and horizontal black and white stripes on its legs. It has a black nose, a black and white tail with a black tip, and a small black mane on the upper centre of its head.
Description[]
Originally thought to be a white horse with black markings. To a zebra, stripes are always flattering.
Requirements[]
- Cape Buffalo tamed.
- Ride in Savannah.
- Must tame the Zebra to progress through the tutorial.

- The Zebra is based on the real-life zebra.
- The description is a reference to how it was originally thought that zebras were a kind of horse.
- The Zebra, alongside the Cape Buffalo, is one of two animals in the game to have the breeding time of 30 minutes.
- The Baby Zebra's ability reflects that of the adult's.
- In version 0.1.0 in the soft launch, the Zebra didn't have the first part and the comma after zebra. It was "To a zebra stripes are always flattering."

- The Zebra was released in the original release, version 1.0.0, on the 22nd of June 2016, along with Savannah and all other original Savannah animals, Jungle and all original Jungle animals, and the Sky Zoo.
- The Zebra taming mission is the first ever mission that can be completed.
- The Zebra taming mission is the only specific animal taming mission with a different name, with the name "Tame a more exciting animal".
